Why songs teach Hungarian faster
Hungarian conjugation is a pattern problem. Every verb runs through the same six persons, and the ending you pick depends on whether the stem is back-vowel or front-vowel. Sung as a phrase — adok, adsz, ad, adunk, adtok, adnak — the pattern lands as one shape instead of six separate facts to memorise.
Melody also carries vowel length and stress, which is exactly what English speakers lose first in Hungarian. And because each song is limited to the vocabulary of its own phase, you never listen past your level.
